All projects start at a beginning; that beginning can either be pragmatic or it can be inspirational. In either event, a client will approach an Architect with a request to help them realize their project.
The Architect will begin with the basics the client brings to the table:
- The Site
- The Program
- The Budget
- The Goals
They will then thoroughly research and investigate each of these elements along with other mitigating and influential factors such as local laws and building codes, weather, the surrounding environment, social factors, market values, etc. The end result of this is a set of guidelines and goals the Architect will use to shape the project and influence the design.
